Isabelle Custer

Starting at a young age, Isabelle has had a love for helping in her community and surroundings as a caretaker and accommodating families with needs for their children and pets.  Isabelle graduated from Kenston High School in Chagrin Falls, Ohio where she was an aid for the special needs community and offered a helpful hand and friend to all in need. Isabelle has a passion to help the underestimated as she herself was underestimated as a child fighting and battling her condition she is now able to manage because of her strong willed passionate mother, Katy Custer. Full of energy and life with an organized twist Isabelle is a young, vibrant bright individual that finds connections and communication with each moment she is offered. She is now 21 years old and has 7 years’ experience as a certified nanny and full service family caretaker for multiple ages, stages and animals. She is certified in CPR and First Aid,  and is noted as a first responder. Also registered with the State of Ohio and certified as an Independent Provider with the DODD in multiple surrounding Counties. She co-directs the children’s program at the Awakening Church and runs the special needs programs at Awakening. She is the head administrator and oversees all programs here at Mind Over Body Gym. 

Isabelle is a Certified Spelling to Communicate Practitioner trained with a 2 year certification by I-ASC and completed her internship at Growing Kids Therapy Center in Herndon, VA. Taking part in an additional 8 week zoomed training course led by Dana Johnson and Melanie Conway, she was given an eye opening understanding and outlook on how to help the apraxic community manage their bodies allowing for Spelling, open communication and continual growth with her students. She loves the opportunity to gain daily hands-on experience, as she is one of the primary directors of the CRP Age Appropriate education MOB Program. 

She is currently undergoing special Communication Regulation Partner training, for higher level education, allowing our students to go beyond the barriers of highschool to complete a college education with the proper CRP needs. She loves God, her dogs, her family, her friends and the opportunity to work with each brilliant individual that she crosses paths with.
